8:30 am Meet at the Yerington Inn hotel parking lot. Participants on field trip consolidate in available 4-wheel drive personal vehicles (participants are encouraged to bring one).

10:00 am tour through the Ann-Mason porphyry copper deposit (guidebook provided), with geology stops

4:00 pm BBQ at Blue Hill

            9:00 am Optional morning field trip, to Casting Copper skarn

            1:00 pm Depart by vehicle to Reno, NV, etc.

All hotel costs, meals and vehicle costs are to be self-paid. 

Please book your own lodging in Yerington. The main/base hotel will be the Yerington Inn Hotel - if you can book a room there that will be best. Otherwise any hotel in Yerington will be okay.

You will need to have your own 4x4 vehicle, or carpool with a colleague, to attend the field visits.

You have the option to just join part, or all of the events, depending on your availability.
